So. My favorite show re-premiered in the U.S. today.
Winx Club.
I watched it frequently as a kid and was completely addicted.
I was really excited at first to hear the familiar old theme, to see the awesome transformations and to re-learn about the Magix kingdom.
I was really surprised, because the show was changed a lot.

I was really surprised, because the show was changed a lot.
First off, the editors cut out a bunch of scenes, making the show seem way to fast and rushed.
Secondly, (and this annoyed me.) they made it so that "Winx" means nothing.
Bloom: "How about the Winx?"
Flora (or Musa, can't remember.) "That's great, but what does Winx mean?"
Bloom: "Nothing! It's just us. The Winx!"

Uh, Winx means everything. Magic, life, fairies, etc. I was dissapointed with them taking the meaning away, but it's not huge.
Third, the theme. I really loved the first theme, which talked about each power separately and showed the fairies transformations.
Althought that theme was a little cheesey, and this new one was more mature. It reminded me a lot of the Italian version.
The dialogue was changed a lot too, but in a better way. The show seems like it's aimed more at older kids now, unlike before when it seemed to be more for little kids.
There are other things that were changed, but I can't really remember those. I'll re-watch the show tonight and add them.
