Inception Reveiew

I usually don't review movies. But I watched a movie today that I just need to talk about. Inception. Inception was... different. I thought it'd be really underrated or something, because what most people think of as good I say is crap, and vice versa. Well, Inception was the one outcast.

The movie wasn't as mental as I thought it would be. It was SO much more. I found myself pausing frequently just to mull over what I had heard. At least a dozen times. The movie made more sense as it went on, but still. It's something you really have to think about.
The ending freaked me out. I was dying to see what happened, but apparently we never will. -.- I can deal with that though. The movie in itself was satisfying enough to let me let go of that.

My favorite character...
hmm. Tied between Arthur and Ariadne. Am I the only one who noticed that joke? Ariadne? A Greek princess who led Thesus through a maze? Such a clever idea. Kudos to whoever thought of that. Arthur was just wonderful. So funny and charming. And incredibly smart. I hardly understood what he was doing until he was nearly done. I feel like such an Inception person myself because my dreams are much like that structure. Multiple layers, so many that it's difficult to remember them all.
(Most accurate picture EVER above. ^)

Although my dreams are so odd that anyone would realize they're dreams when they're in them. Odd wouldn't even be accurate to describe them. Erratic maybe. Or idiosyncratic.

Overall, the movie was pretty fantastic. I'd definitely watch it again. I might be able to understand it more the second time through. Or the tenth.
